 For more than 85 years, the Hartford Hospital Auxiliary has assisted Hartford Hospital by providing services and programs that directly benefit the hospital’s patients, staff and visitors.
We are proud to fund special projects and provide gifts to the Hartford Hospital community. This success depends on the generous support of our volunteers and sponsors.

Annual Benefit Golf Tournament
The annual Hartford Hospital Benefit Golf Tournament is the Auxiliary's most important fundraiser. Consistently, over $200,000 has been raised by each tournament, and in the past two years, that number has exceeded $300,000. The net proceeds, from the annual tournaments, have generated an excess of $2 million. These proceeds have funded urgent hospital programs which cannot be covered by the hospital's annual budget.
The 2012 tournament was an overwhelming success and was held September 10 at Tumble Brook Country Club, Bloomfield, CT. The net proceeds benefitted the Hartford Hospital's new Epilepsy Center. The Center will place Hartford Hospital amongst the nations' elite in the care and treatment of epilepsy with the establishment of an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. This equipment, with its ability to capture long-term brain activity, will assist our neurologists in more accurately diagnosing and treating patients affected by seizures.

The Auxiliary Store is located on the first floor of the Bliss Wing, directly east of the elevators and the main lobby. It offers a wide variety of merchandise and every purchase benefits Hartford Hospital programs.

Au Bon Pain Café
The Auxiliary continues to welcome the Au Bon Pain Café, located in the main lobby of Hartford Hospital. In addition to offering freshly prepared sandwiches, salads and desserts on site, the café extends its services to catering breakfast, lunch and snack options for hospital meetings and group gatherings. All Au Bon Pain purchases benefit the Hartford Hospital community.
