1.  Application: Submit an application with a $50 non-refundable application fee.

3.  Transcripts: Submit all official high school and college transcripts. Foreign transcripts need to be evaluated for U.S. equivalency by a foreign transcript evaluation agency.
NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR 2013 CANDIDATES
As of January 1, 2015, all applicants for certification in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) will be required to possess a minimum of an associate’s degree.

4.  Placement Test: Applicants meeting the minimum prerequisite requirements will be scheduled to take a placement test ($45 fee) that must be passed with a grade of 70% or higher.
 
5.  Clinical Observation: Applicants who have successfully passed the placement test will be scheduled for a half-day observation in the Hartford Hospital Imaging Department.
 
6.  Interview: The Admissions Committee and applicant will meet for a personal interview once the clinical observation is complete.

7.  Physical Assessment: Accepted students must submit documentation of required vaccinations and a physical examination prior to the start of the program.

8.  Final Admission is contingent upon passage of pre-enrollment substance abuse screening and criminal background check.
