Radiography Program Admission Requirements

Students must have the following in order to be considered for program admission:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Have taken a minimum of 15 credit hours of college-level course work.
  3. Have completed the following college-level courses with a grade of ‘C’ or higher (C- and below is not accepted):
    • Human Anatomy and Physiology I
    • Human Anatomy and Physiology II
    • Intermediate Algebra
    • English Composition
    • Communication/Public Speaking
  4. Must demonstrate the ability to work in a health care environment:  Demonstrate compassion, understanding, and be able to work with a diverse population of people and under fast paced and sometimes stressful conditions.  Must be mature, open-minded and professional, with excellent communication skills.
  5. Must pass pre-enrollment physical examination including substance abuse screening.
  6. Must submit signed form indicating that he/she understands and can comply with physical and cognitive standards of the profession (see attached physical and cognitive standards).
