Surgical Technology Program

surgical techWelcome!

To many people, the operating room is the hospital.

Although every department in a hospital focuses on assuring patients the best possible care, the operating room (OR) is a special area of drama, professional skills and teamwork.

The School of Allied Health offers a two-year program in affiliation with Manchester Community Technical College. The program leads to an Associate’s Degree and eligibility to take the national certification exam of the Association of Surgical Technologists.

The Surgical Technology Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
