Dept. of Education - Continuing Medical Education

 

The mission of the Continuing Medical Education unit is to meet the accreditation requirements of the Connecticut State Medical Society such that the hospital is recognized as a purveyor of credited programs; to develop CME policy; and to plan, design, develop and evaluate CME programs which are intended to meet the needs of the hospital staff and other physicians practicing in Connecticut.

 

 

The Division of Continuing Medical Education has the responsibilities of overseeing continuing medical education activities and assuring compliance of all hospital sponsored programs with the Connecticut State Medical Society’s Essentials for CME Accreditation. During calendar year, the division reviews, approves, implements and evaluates hundreds of didactic programs.
