A native of Connecticut, Dr. Bagdasarian graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University with a B.S. in Chemistry in 2001. He then stayed in Boston to obtain his M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2005. His residency in General Surgery was completed at the Hospital of St. Raphael, an affiliate of the Yale University School of Medicine, in New Haven, CT, where he served as Chief Resident from 2009 - 2010. Following this, Dr. Bagdasarian completed a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (UMDNJ) in New Brunswick, NJ. Dr. Bagdasarian brings with him training in both traditional open surgical procedures as well as the latest minimally invasive endovascular techniques. He has particular interest in endovascular treatment of both abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms, as well as carotid endarterectomy and stenting.
