2007

The 2007 Black & Red gala raised over $415,000 for Hartford Hospital’s Chest Pain Center
Hartford Hospital staged its 16th annual Black & Red gala at The Bushnell on February 17, 2007. The black-tie event attracted over 800 guests who were treated to an evening of fine dining and entertainment including performances from Broadway’s current blockbusters.
Since the gala’s inception in 1992, this memorable evening has raised over four million dollars in net proceeds for Hartford Hospital programs. This year's gala raised a record $415,000 to benefit the Chest Pain Center at Hartford Hospital. These funds will be used to purchase rapid assessment equipment, enable a chest pain specialist to be available in the Emergency Department at all times, allow the analysis of Chest Pain Center data, provide for community education regarding chest pain awareness, and provide paramedic and emergency personnel education and training.
