The HH HCT is a pluralistic, open and accountable idea forum.  We support the Hartford Hospital Vision and Mission.  We encourage and facilitate the sharing of individual and service based HCT thoughts and opinions on topics that have bearing on our goal of providing the Optimal Patient Experience and Service Excellence to our patients and each-other. Our decisions and strategic recommendations are based on researched evidence, respect for the synergy of individual and profession based expertise and consensus.  These decisions and recommendations are reached via sub-group presentations and group discussions and are shared with the appropriate administrative council(s) (CMT, Quality Council, Process of Care, etc…) so they may be considered in decisions that effect patient care and hospital operations.  We may delegate assignments to HH HCT sub-groups such as the investigation of best practice.  We also share information about hospital initiatives and decisions with our members and constituents so we may all act in concert.  

To provide the forum for direct care providers to advocate and strategize for the delivery of the optimal patient experience.
