(HealthDay News) -- Nothing can ruin a road trip faster than a
bout of motion sickness.
The University of Maryland Medical Center suggests how to help
prevent motion sickness while in the car:
- Sit in the front seat instead of the back.
- Look at the horizon while you travel, and don't read.
- Lean your head against the headrest, so it doesn't move.
- Point air vents at your face.
- Avoid smoking.
