(HealthDay News) -- Hyperglycemia, the medical term for high
blood sugar, is a prime cause of complications among people with
diabetes.
You may have high blood sugar and not even know it. The American
Diabetes Association offers this list of common symptoms:
- Blood or urine tests that reveal high levels of glucose.
- Feeling a frequent need to urinate.
- Excessive thirst.
