healthy lifestyle is your best bet.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lists these
suggestions to help reduce your risk of stroke:
- Follow a healthy diet that's low in saturated fats and
cholesterol.
- Stick to a healthy body weight; lose weight if you're
overweight.
- Get plenty of regular physical activity.
- Avoid smoking.
- Restrict alcohol consumption.
