(HealthDay News) -- If you're a new mom who is planning to
return to work soon, you may need to find a reputable childcare
provider.
The womenshealth.gov website suggests how to evaluate any
childcare center:
- Visit many different facilities and spend considerable time at
each one, to get a good feel for the environment and quality of
care.
- Watch and listen for busy, active and happy children.
- Count how many staff members are assigned to each child, and
make sure that ratio complies with state guidelines.
- Research the staff's experience and individual
backgrounds.
