(HealthDay News) -- Newborns don't need a full bath every day,
the American Academy of Pediatrics says. But there are certain body
areas that are prone to needing frequent cleaning.
The academy recommends a frequent spot-check of:
- The diaper area.
- Skin that's been dirtied by a diaper "blowout."
- Around baby's mouth.
- Baby's skin folds, including near the chin and thighs.
- The armpits and groin area.
