(HealthDay News)-- Becoming drenched with sweat during an
intense workout is to be expected. But what if you constantly
sweat, even without exertion?
Excessive sweating, especially when accompanied by other
symptoms, may signal that you should visit your doctor. The ADAM
Encyclopedia cites these examples:
- Sweating heavily for an extended period without an identifiable
cause.
- Feeling pressure or pain in the chest, along with
sweating.
- Losing weight.
- Sweating that usually happens while you sleep.
- Any of these symptoms accompanied by difficulty breathing or a
very fast, pounding heartbeat.
