(HealthDay News) -- When bacteria, viruses or parasites
contaminate your food, you can have symptoms that range from a sour
stomach to dangerous bouts of vomiting, diarrhea or
dehydration.
The National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse says
common symptoms of foodborne illness include:
- Painful abdominal cramping.
- Nausea.
- Vomiting.
- Dehydration.
- Fever.
- Diarrhea, which may be bloody.
