(HealthDay News) -- All fats shouldn't be treated equal. Your
body craves certain "healthy" fats, which are unsaturated fats
mostly found in plant-based foods.
The womenshealth.gov website says these foods are good sources
of "healthy" fats:
- Olive, canola and peanut oils.
- Most types of nuts.
- Avocados.
- Safflower and sunflower oils.
- Corn oil, soybean oil and cottonseed oil.
- Fatty fish, such as salmon, mackerel and trout, as well as
flaxseed, all of which are good sources of omega-3 fatty
acids.
