Adolescent Anxiety Group
(Ongoing… New participants welcome!)
This group is open to adolescents in middle school and high school, ages 13 -18 with an anxiety disorder. Group members will be taught anxiety management skills and help each other to face their fears in a supportive environment. The group will meet weekly on Mondays from 4 to 5:30pm.
(Late Summer/Early Fall, 2013)
The group takes place weekly and consists of 16 sessions of cognitive behavioral therapy for compulsive hoarding. Treatment will focus on motivational enhancement, learning organizational skills, cognitive restructuring, learning to discard, and learning how to reduce acquisition.
Cognitive Therapy Group
(Starting May, 2013)
This 8 session group is for adults who would benefit from learning to change their thinking patterns. The group will focus on identifying and changing maladaptive thought patterns that contribute to anxiety and depression. This group is primarily designed for individual who have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder, but individuals with other anxiety disorders may also benefit from this group.

This group is for adults and takes place bi-weekly (Wenesdays, 4:30 to 6:00pm). All participants in this group work with an individual therapist on the weeks they are not in the group. You will work with your individual therapist to set up exposure exercises to be conducted in this group setting.

This group will be for adolescents and will run for 8-10 weeks. Treatment will focus on awareness training and habit reversal training.

This group will be for adults with a diagnosis of OCD and will start in Spring or Summer, 2013.
