Geriatric Services: Memory Disorders Center

The Memory Disorders Center provides comprehensive evaluation of cognitive impairment and early dementia. 

 

The Center specializes in state of the art assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning using an interdisciplinary team approach of specialists in neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology, social work, neurology, neuroimaging, and geriatric psychiatry. 

 

Referring physicians are provided with consultation regarding differential diagnosis, dementia treatment recommendations, and referral resources. The Memory Disorders Center can help arrange for patients and their families to receive additional services or participate in research through affiliated Hartford Hospital programs or community resources.
