The sleep lab in Bloomfield can accommodate up to four patients nightly and is open seven nights a week.
The Hartford Hospital Sleep Disorder Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, which complemented Hartford Hospital's center on its "commitment to the growth of the field of sleep disorders medicine."

At both of our sleep lab locations (Hartford and Bloomfield), state-of-the-art technology allows physicians to monitor exactly what happens while a patient sleeps. Both Hartford Hospital sleep labs are open seven nights a week. Patients
arrive by 7:30 or 8:00 p.m. so they can get used to the monitoring equipment before falling asleep.
The sleep lab on the eleventh floor of Hartford Hospital's Center Building accommodates up to six patients nightly in rooms with wood-trimmed furnishings and amenities like flat-screen TVs. The sleep lab in Bloomfield can accommodate up to four patients nightly.
