What is CPE
CPE
is an experience-based learning program which combines daily work in hospital ministry to patients, staff, and families with small group, intensive reflection and feedback, plus individual supervision.
The basic three-fold purpose of CPE at Hartford Hospital is:
To learn the skills of pastoral ministry
To know and use theological reflection in the practice of ministry
To know and experience one's self as a pastoral person
By joining the Pastoral Services Team through our Clinical Pastoral Education programs, you can:
Establish satisfying relationships with patients, families and staff
Deepen your own spirituality
Explore a new career in the ministry
Learn new skills for your present ministry
Become a member of a committed and caring team
As a student you can expect:
