Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Connecticut has named Hartford Hospital as one of its Blue Distinction Centers for Complex and Rare Cancers(SM). There are only 84 such centers designated in the United States, and only two in Connecticut. (Read the press release)

Our treatment programs, the most comprehensive in CT, include a wide variety of options such as robotic surgery, MRI spectroscopy, permanent and temporary brachytherapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and Image-Guided Radiation Therapy, (IGRT) as well as a variety of drug therapies.
