This free, two-hour workshop will cover the latest treatments for lung cancer, side effects, side-effect management, and tools to overcome the social and emotional challenges of the diagnosis. We hope to answer many of your questions about lung cancer to help you (or your loved one) manage the disease more successfully.
The program is free, and there will be a light dinner served. Registration is required through the Health Referral Service at 860-545-1888.
Speakers are Todd Alekshun, MD, and Ellen Dornelas, PhD.
Who should attend? Anyone with lung cancer, at any stage of illness, and their loved ones who are looking for information about how to become more active participants in treatment decision-making and how to better cope with life during and after cancer treatment.
