Hartford Hospital’s Cancer Program periodically offers health screening sessions within the community.
Early detection exams are offered for breast, prostate and colon cancer. Lung cancer awareness information is also provided.
- For information regarding upcoming screenings, please call (860) 972-1105.
- Free prostate cancer early detection testing, provided by Clinical Laboratory Partners, is specifically designed for men above age 40 who do not have a primary care physician.
- Women eligible for these screening mammograms must have not had a mammogram or breast biopsy in the past year and do not have breast implants or a personal history of breast cancer. A base line mammogram is recommended for women between the ages of 35 and 39; annual mammograms for women 40 and over. Insurance will be billed for this service, so please bring your card. If a woman has no insurance, the cost will be covered by donated funds.
