CHESS
CHESS is a research-based Internet system of integrated services designed to help individuals cope with a diagnosis of breast cancer or prostate cancer. 
 
CHESS provides timely, easily accessible resources (information, social support, decision-making and problem solving tools) when needed most.
 
CHESS combines various services and resources into one system, meeting the needs of individuals with many styles of coping and learning, making use of the CHESS system more rewarding. 
 
CHESS is licensed by the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Hartford Hospital is a longstanding research partner with the CHESS program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is the only hospital in Connecticut to offer CHESS to its patients.
