The Henry Low Heart Center Heart Transplant Program
has given new life to people who have experienced debilitating cardiac conditions.
Hartford
Hospital
was the first
Connecticut
hospital to perform a successful heart transplant operation in 1984. Since then, more than 250 heart transplants have been performed by a committed and gifted team of specialists who provide comprehensive care, support and education in each phase of the transplant experience.
