Center
provides education and treatment programs designed to improve the lives of people with cholesterol disorders. As only one of two centers existing in New England, the Cholesterol Management Center is a major participant in many studies of new cholesterol treatments and is the only center in Connecticut to offer LDL-apheresis using the H.E.L.P. (Heparin-Induced Extracorporeal Lipoprotein Precipitation) System.
