The Medical Library and the Pyrtek Learning Resource Center have moved to the Education and Resource Center (ERC), 3rd floor.
The Robinson Library, currently on the ERC, 3rd floor, and known to many as a nursing and allied health library, has been combined with the Medical Library. The new library is called the Robinson Health Science Library, and continues to provide a comprehensive collection of journals, books, and electronic resources.
In addition to the collection, the new Library has an Information Commons where Library customers can use computer workstations that each support a variety of tasks. For example, customers can do a literature search, check email, search the Internet, create a PowerPoint presentation or scan an image all at the same workstation.
Note that the Pyrtek Learning Resource Center will temporarily remain open in its current location CB-3. It is scheduled to move to the new Robinson Health Science Library during the week of June 30th. A Corporate Communication will be distributed closer to the date of this move.
We are planning a Grand Opening celebration for both the new Robinson Health Science Library and the Pyrtek Learning Resource Center. Watch for an announcement.
