The following classes are available upon request for your group or one-on-one personal time:
 
CINAHL: Learn the basics of searching the Nursing & Allied Health Literature using CINAHL (Cumulative Index of Nursing & Allied Health Literature) with OVID
Evidence Based Nursing: In this is 3 Part Series, offered 3 consecutive Tuesdays each month, Nurses or nursing students learn the basics of Evidence Based Nursing using Ovid. Students may register for all or part of the series. Questions? Call Arlene at 5-2416.
Health & Wellness: Search the National Library of Medicine’s MedlinePlus and InfoTrac’s Health & Wellness databases for Consumer Health Information on the Internet.  Excellent for patients, family members, or your personal medical information needs.
Internet Basics: Learn how to effectively search the Internet, create favorites (bookmarking) etc. This is NOT a medical literature search class.
OVID (Medline): This is a basic (not advanced) course on how to use OVID Medline. It is designed for anyone who needs to search the medical literature for research or patient care
PowerPoint:

Learn* the basics of creating a PowerPoint presentation, step by step.

* previous computer skills a plus

PubMed: Learn to search Medline with PubMed. The class covers search strategy and the fine points of PubMed tools.
