Mixed Media Jewelry Making

Description:

Through a creative process of self-reflection and exploration of art making, participants will create wearable mixed media jewelry that reflects their personal inspirations. Participants may use a combination of paper, beads, metal, wire and found objects to create jewelry with personal significance. Skills covered include: Bead making, basic wirework, surface design on metal and connections. Materials provided yet participants are encouraged to bring a small objects or mementos for their unique piece. No previous art experience necessary.
