About the Department

 

DIVISIONS: Emergency Medicine Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

The Department of Emergency Medicine offers a full spectrum of emergency care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Serving around the clock in the department are specialists who are board-certified in Emergency Medicine and provide trauma care; acute care; fast track care; and patient and family services. In addition, care teams have access to sub-specialists at all hours of the day and night.

 

The department welcomes referral of patients who require emergency evaluation. The attending physician may be contacted directly by calling (800) 548-6537 twenty-four hours a day.

 

Hartford Hospital is committed to developing a seamless transition between primary care and tertiary referral.
