Susanne is the part-time nurse educator for Women’s Health Services. She oversees the education of the following units, North 6, North 8, Bliss 6, CB2, Prenatal testing, GYN oncology, and Urogynecology. Susanne has been with Hartford Hospital since 1999. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Hartford. She maintains a certification in Maternal/Newborn Nursing. Among her qualifications she is an AWHONN fetal monitoring instructor, Neo-natal resuscitation instructor, and Basic life support instructor. She is a member of the Connecticut Perinatal Association and AWHONN. Susanne has a passion for mentoring and has published an article on mentoring the new nurse.
