VP of Patient Care Services

Linda Berger Spivack, RN, MSN, was named Vice President of Patient Care Services at Hartford Hospital in May, 2008.

 

Spivack previously worked with Yale-New Haven Hospital in designing the operations for its Smilow Cancer Hospital, slated to open in late 2009, and consulted on YNH’s nursing operations and professional practice. From 1999 to 2007, she was Vice President of Patient Care Services at MidState Medical Center. 

Under her leadership, the clinical team achieved remarkable results in the areas of patient care and satisfaction. She is president of the Connecticut Organization of Nurse Executives and a past trustee of the Connecticut Hospital Association, a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, the honor society of nursing, and an adjunct faculty member in the University of Hartford’s graduate nursing program.

 

She earned her BS in Nursing from Stern College for Women at Yeshiva University in New York and her MS from the City University of New York.
