Expectant Grandparents Class
    Gives grandparents the opportunity to talk with trained professionals about birthing changes.
How to Effectively Treat Arthritis of the Hip and Knee
    Hartford Hospital invites you to learn about the causes of hip and knee pain, non-operative and operative management of arthritis and the latest advances in joint replacement.
Joint Replacement Patient Education
    Class for patients who will undergo hip or knee replacement surgery so they know what to expect. (Note: This class IS NOT for patients undergoing a shoulder joint replacement.)
Yoga for Strong Bones
    A four-week yoga series designed to build strong bones, increase range of motion in joints and improve stability.

Bereavement Support Group in Spanish (Grupo de Apoyo a los Enlutados)
    Open to Spanish-speaking families and caregivers who have lost a loved one. (El grupo se reunirá el primer y tercer lunes de cada mes)
Bone Density Screenings
    The results of this test can detect early signs of osteoporosis.
Keeping in Touch Volunteer Program
    Volunteers assigned to nursing units throughout the hospital to provide companionship and support to patients and families.
Memory Problems
    Learn about causes, treatments and prevention of memory problems
Palliative Care Volunteer Program
    If you are caring, attentive and sensitive to the needs of others, we can train you to utilize these skills to support those in need.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation Classes
    This program is for pulmonary patients who wish to control and alleviate, as much as possible, symptoms of respiratory impairment.
Stay Upright - Preventing Falls
    Learn what steps you can take to reduce risk factors common to older persons and how to get help if you have fallen.
