The sleep lab, which treats more than 200 patients a month for a variety
of sleep disorders, is under the direction of Natalya Thorevska, MD.
The center is open seven nights a week, including Saturday. The
state-of-the-art sleep lab in Hartford accommodates up to six patients
at a time in comfortable surroundings with such amenities as flat-screen
TVs. The Bloomfield location can handle up to four patients a night.
Typical sleep disorders include sleep apnea, a breathing disorder that typically produces a feeling during the daytime of sleeplessness, insomnia, snoring and sleepwalking.
In its letter awarding accreditation, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine said: “Your efforts to achieve accreditation have been significant and reflect commitment to the growth of the field of sleep disorders medicine. Congratulations on what you and your colleagues have accomplished.” |
