A wellness program to help women understand common reasons why they could be restricted from partaking or increasing high intensity exercise performance.


Learning Objectives:

  • Provide a better understanding of common obstacles to participating in high endurance exercise
  • Teach cardiovascular benefits and potential risks of endurance training and racing program
  • Explain the initial steps necessary for women with sedentary individuals to safely and confidently begin a high endurance aerobic exercise program
  • Learn how physical therapy can be used for injury prevention and treatment with an emphasis of understanding common mistakes made that lead to a higher risk of injury
  • Understand the different types of urinary incontinence and treatment options allowing for high endurance exercise without the concern of leakage of urine
