Education is an important component in our family-centered approach to birthing.

While you’re in the hospital, a nurse conducts a needs assessment designed to determine what, if anything, you need or want to know. Your care and your baby’s care is planned around this assessment.

Because we know your questions don’t end when you go home, we are available to you after discharge. Our Warmline, a telephone information line, offers education, support and reassurance following the birth of your baby.

If you have concerns about yourself, your baby, or breastfeeding after you are home, CALL US! The phone line is answered by postpartum nurses and is available 24 hours a day.

The Warmline phone number is 860-545-6030
