Find a Pediatrician

It is very important to choose your baby’s doctor before coming to the hospital to deliver your baby. A pediatrician will need to examine your baby before you leave the hospital. 

Family, friends, neighbors, and your obstetrician may suggest a pediatrician. Ask them why they recommend the doctor. Be sure you are looking for the same qualities or attributes.

Interviewing a pediatrician before your baby is born has become quite common. This is a nice opportunity to get to know your child’s physician. Since some doctors charge for this time, ask about fees when you call for the appointment.
