24th Annual Mary Mulready Sullivan Oncology Symposium, "Advances in Melanoma:  Strategies for Screening, Local and Systemic Management" will be held for Health Care Professionals.  CME's and CEU's will be awarded.  Guest speakers include:

  • Zendee Elaba, MD-Melanoma: Dermatopathology Update       
  • Robert Piorkowski, MD - Surgical excision/sentinel node sampling for Melanoma
  • Frank Stephen Hodi, MD-Immune Ckpoint blockade for treatment of melanoma
  • Mike Davies, MD - Targeted Therapy for Melanoma
  • Virgina Seery, MSN, ANP-BC- Toxicity Mgmt of Immunotherapy and targeted therapy for Melanoma

Program Objectives:

1.  Implement a strategy for screening and treatment of melanoma with an enhanced knowledge base.

2.  Coordinate care for the melanoma patients by embracing appropriate members of the multidisciplinary team.

3.  Articulate the staging system for melanoma and how it is utilized to help guide appropriate therapy.

Practice Gap - Utilize information about new targeted therapies for melanoma to help guide the care of patients following their diagnosis.
