Fundamentals of Robotic Surgery

Team of experienced robotically trained urologists, including physicians from Hartford Hospital Tallwood Urology and Kidney Institute will provide hands on training in urologic robotic surgery.

This unique hands-on skills training course is designed to give the urologist a basic understanding of the specific skills necessary to perform key urologic robotic surgery techniques. During the 4-hour course the attendees will be taught and practice specific skill tasks for a variety of surgical techniques including robotic instrumentation utilization and control, as well as robotic suturing and knot tying. Participants will utilize the Intuitive Surgical Si Surgical Robotic System, da Vinci Skills Simulator and the dV-Trainer from Mimic Technologies, Inc.

  • This course is provided in conjunction with the NEAUA section and transportation to Hartford Hospital from the NEAUA conference site.
  • 4 hours CMEs provided
  • Validated parking in the Hartford Hospital Employee Parking Garage for those registered.  Please be prepared to show state/government issued ID at the security gate.

Fee Desc: $200 if registered on or before 9/13 and $300 registration on or after 9/14.
